I'm new to blogging so I don't know your email address. The jumper was only $4 at op shop so I didn't have much to lose. I didn't know what to do either. The jumper was 60%wool, 40% synthetic. I put it in the washing machine on 60 degrees with washing powder gentle full cycle wash. It really shrank and is very thick maybe even to thick to sew with a machine. Good luck with it.
