Wonderful pictures. At first I thought the spinning was a cocoon.. I had to look twice.-am very pleased to hear that the mob of kangaroos aren't an actual MOB ! :)
wow, that really is a mob.eeww to the leaf with the growths. eeww.my word verification is tbtiylc, which i think sounds like a good name for mutant leaf disease.
Those are all fine pics. You've a very good eye, yes. I love the spinning. Beautiful! I think you must live in paradise. Even the mutations are beautiful!
Some other word options for mob: agglomeration, assemblage, assortment, band, batch, bevy, blob, bouquet, bunch, bundle, caboodle, chunk, clump, cluster, covey, crew, crowd, fascicle, flock, galaxy, gang, gathering, group, heap, host, hunk, knot, lot, mass, mess, mob, multitude, number, oodles, pack, parcel, party, passel, pile, quantity, sheaf, shebang, shock, spray, stack, swarm, team, thicket, troop, tuft, tussock... ...but I think my fave is congregation. The congregation of roos.!!ooh, my WV is derqmwv; it had me at the derq...
I was imagining the *mob* when I read your earlier post, but seeing it...whoa! Thanks for posting that photo. It's wonderful!
I think they must be insect eggs. In the late summer and fall here, all the fallen leaves are covered with them also--they are smooth instead of crinkled here, though.
those kangaroos are SO COOL.
spores...I think they are spores. And isn't it a gaggle of kangaroos?
that first pic is my fav. wow!
LOL My immediate thought was similiar to erica's... You can always say you live down the road from 'The Mob'... That would sort your friends out pretty quick...
your son is way cool!love the mob!and those eggs or whatever are making me scared. never seen anythign like that before.
I love, love, love that drop spindle photo! -Flourish
All those kangaroos! I don't think I've ever even seen one kangaroo in real life- and you had a whole mob!
