Jumping on that craft bandwagon, playing with the big kids. Lots of craft bloggers post their WIPs on a Friday – I think Fiona started it …
A pair of slippers. Still to be blocked, otherwise

Fingerless gloves for an order; pattern from Knitty. Love that picot cast-off, and the Debbie Bliss Cashmerino is a dream to work with. Still to be popped in the mail, along with a chocolate pair.

One paper still to be

Socks. I couldn’t help myself.

You have the same quilt cover as me(mine is purple), Laura Ashley I believe. It goes perfectly with the very pretty socks.
It is Laura Ashley, but it's not a quilt. It was cafe curtains and a bed valance and a pillow case, all found in the op shop. I turned a bit of it into a cushion cover and it now lives on the rocking chair outside.
The socks ARE pretty, aren't they? The colours remind me of caramel lollies.
Wot, you mean finished and on time and everything?!
Yummy socks. Kind of like ice cream. Have a good weekend!
my goodness, the productivity.
my MIL had that Laura Ashley set and has turned it into everything in the world!
I have an apron, there are curtains, and some cushion covers.
i was JUST going to say
what you said already
that these yummy socks
remind me of a candy we have here...
i'm in awe of your socks...
i knit but socks have always seemed
out of my possibility...tiny needles befuddle me...
love your wristies...
I love the socks. Pink and brown together look so good and the added caramel color is just perfect. They make me think of candy, too.
neopolitan icecream socks - mmmmmm
Love the socks so much I need to know what kind of yarn!!
Lovely Liquorice Allsorts Socks!!
Love that picot castoff too.
Your elegant hand/s!!
Lee,

OMG! I had no idea what craziness I was getting into with my question about the yarn. It clearly must hit a nerve with lots of people. I have just spent an hour on the net checking out stores and chat rooms. I think there is none to be had unless you are willing to pay $43. And I'm not, at least, I don't think so.
I love those slippers!
Wish I had the skills to make some, but I don't - hehe ;)
I like the slippers, must be the seed stitch.
Hey, nice socks. ;) Glad to see you caved in.
LOVE the fingerless mittens!!! Hi, Michele sent me :-)
Came to this site through some blog surfing, but just had to comment when I saw Aristophanes. Wet my pants laughing reading that man.
