Happy birthday, Suse, for being 43 on the 8th. My daughter, Herself, with whom I live was 43 on the 10th. I guess your mother shares my feeling of creeking bones at having a 43 year old daughter. I do mental back-tracking to remind myself of where I was and what I was doing at her age. That was back in 1987 - living in Townsville; kids still around; busy life as a union official and trying to finsh a uni degree. Twenty years is a long time these days.
