Time to knuckle down.
*Five Cup Cake
1 cup self raising flour
1 cup sugar (I use less)
1 cup coconut
1 cup milk
1 cup sultanas/choc chips/dried fruit/nuts/seeds/whatever.
Mix together. Pour into cake tin. Bake 45 minutes-ish.
UPDATE: Moderate oven - 180 C

wow, great recipe! and exactly the kind of thing I'd like to make this afternoon for the kids, but I didn't have a recipe. Was in the kitchen looking at the dried apricots and wondering! Thanks for linking all the info to do with Steiner schools, they really interest me, except we'd probably have to move (or I'd have to spend hours driving each day)which I don't want to do. Food for thought anyway.

wow, I tried it and now I've made it three times in the last 24 hours! The kids love it!
How's the deadline going?
I made the cake! It was lovely - used half coconut and half oatbran (because I ran out of coconut) and baked in a medium oven for 45 mins. Delicious.... but....
the left over cake was even MORE divine the next day when toasted and buttered (okay, okay, like any of us need the cholesterol!) but really - the fresh cake on day one was really really nice. But oh, make two and try it the next day toasted! It is SUBLIME!
I've got one in the cake tin right now waiting for tomorrow...
Moderate oven (180 C).
