multiple choice

Yesterday I cast on 68 stitches and knitted eight rows of rib before I realised it should have been eight rows of moss stitch. I ripped it out and started again. And knitted another six rows of rib.

This morning I put the milk in the pantry and the weetbix in the fridge.

In the ten seconds immediately prior to sitting down to write this, I knocked my hip, banged my elbow and then trapped my hand between my desk and chair.

I am:

(a) a complete klutz
(b) up the duff
(c) on medication
(d) really, really tired
(e) all of the above.

Have at it.

I thought, Oh goodie, getting in early on one of Suse's posts....

It's like first night nerves, exam nerves, getting my wisdom teeth removed nerves; I should know the answer, I must know the answer, I do know the answer....

I've lost my nerve. Maybe it's rhetorical?

That sounds very like pregnancy to me...

And you were clucking like mad recently.

Eek. Better you than me. Although I have no good reason for such behaviour, except for blaming it constantly on premature menopause. (I'm 33).

Oh my God.

I'm twitterpated...

I don't know if I can wait to find out the answer to this!!

My first guess was that it was your time of the month (she said primly) as when it's mine, I get extraordinarily clumsy and danger prone.

Again:

Oh my God. I don't know if I can wait to hear the answer to this!

Mmmmmmmm. I wonder?

I'll say "D" because that's my favorite answer for many, many things.

Also because I'll be jealous if there's a baby on the way--as well as excruciatingly happy for you--

I bonk myself non-stop once I start, and we call our girlie "Bonkarella" (much to her chagrin) when she does it, too...)

So?

Happy mother's day, anyway, Suse. Surely, things can only get better.

Blessings and bliss all day and every day

Up the duff? This Canadian needs a translation! I pick it what ever it is!!

Wahoo!
Up the Duff!

Er-I mean (e)all of the above.

But if there are no crying jags included, I would say (c) on medication.

So THAT'S what "up the duff" means! I thought it was like "on the dole"!

I have got to get me one of those slang dictionaries one of these days.
