Hi Suse, Well thank you for coming to my blog and answering my earlier comment about missing the Melbourne blog-up! I'm deeply touched that you went to the trouble. I'll be thinking of you all next weekend. As it turns out, the cheapest roundtrip for us back to dear old Perth was LA-Brisb-Per-Syd-LA, so I miss out all round: I have several really dear girlfriends in Melbourne and I won't get to see any of them this trip. And you're SO right about Melb: It is a magnificent city. I'd love to live there when we eventually finish our US adventures ... I'm rambling, sorry! Love your blog ...
Okay, a couple of thoughts.1. Is this the first time that you have planned or plan to attend a blog party? If you had attended one how did it turn out?2. I've noticed a reference at the bottom of some of your blogs as "farnarkling." Putting aside the chance that I will sound like a complete idiot I need to ask, "What is farnarkling?"
That sounds like fun. Too bad I'm a couple million miles away!Michele sent me,Mike
wish I could go...
Thanks for visiting my blog Suse, and for leaving a lovely comment. yours was the first and there was that exciting moment when I opened my page and saw '1 comment'. Yep it's good to have community absolutely. And wonderful to get to know a more expanded Melbourne community of bloggers. I've been inspired by your blog, especially at Christmas time with your advent candles etc. I may well get to the park on Saturday!
I might not be able to come...Boohoo.Will you come out and play with me another day if I can't?
I can't make it either. The husband is working ( so we can go away next weekend ), and I don't fancy chasing the fast-child around the park, as it's a real dampener to conversation. Now move it to a confined space like a cafe ( with hot soup and/or coffee ), and i'll reconsider ;)Have fun !Can't wait to hear about it !
