I LOVE the tiles you picked. They are perfect.
So is that pancake maker.

Okay, so now you need to zoom out so we can get the complete kitchen with tiles. Too demanding?

I love the blue tiles! That is the most beautiful color blue. What is a "mud brick house"?

Nice tiles! I would love to see the whole kitchen now too! Lucky you with a son who makes pancakes!! I am envious of the homegrown lemon!

Son that cooks 10/10

Which son cooks??!! How old do they have to be before they start feeding me? And is it permissible for me to turn up my nose and tell them I don't loyke dat? Or would that nix any further cooking efforts on their behalf? Dya think?

Not that I would EVER turn up my nose at buttermilk pancakes with a home-grown lemon.

Err, my kids feeding me, I mean. In case you thought I was demanding cookery from your gorgeous boys...

Those are really gorgeous tiles. But the willing cook is the real thing of beauty!

Now tell me the trick - how do you convince your husband to spend money on renovating the kitchen?? Ours is in desperate need (like our bathroom!) but Hubby refuses to see it.

Those tiles look wonderful. I love the way they make up the window ledge too.

Ooh I'm jealous! (and I love it that your dishcloth matches the tile shapes)

That's son #1 who every now and then spontaneously ups and cooks pancakes or french toast, then bursts into our bedroom early on a weekend morning, splashing maple syrup everywhere and blinding us by ripping the curtains open.

He is a dear, generous boy.

And a mudbrick house is just that. A house made with bricks, made of mud.

Oh, wonderful job! LC got in before me - but I too like the effect of using them around the window ledge. Should help with cleaning in that all nooks look visible. We have some awful reverse ledge thing happening I cannot see (and probably don't want to see) what's buried in there ;-)

I love your tiles in an unreasonably, irrationally, lusty way...

But if you don't fix that sidebar soon my retinas may bleed so hard you'll see the red river all the way t'Melbourne.

xxx.

Bec,the fairy godmother who offered to fix my template has disappeared. Sorry.

Hmmm, new kitchen or excellent son? I'll take the latter thanks!

(But the kitchen does look fabulous! )
