Have been away behind with my favourite blogs so am catching up (driven in from the garden by the heat). I've so enjoyed a batch of your posts at once and it's so much more restful to see someone else's kitchen renovation than to do one's own.
Your house is lovely but, to my (Scottish) eyes, extremely unusual. Lots of wood.
Happy to hold up a mirror to the sun sweltering us in Darwin, & beam the rays down to you!! Geesh, it's sooo hot, i'm getting sunburnt doing the afternoon walk to & from school. Sunshine & happiness, that's us!! Oh, like the tiles, must make you smile every time you look at them, or dream about them!! Love Posie
very cool and clever pictures. Rays are always uplifting. From the picture it looks like rays are going up, from the hands instead of coming down to them.

Is that really rays of sunlight, or the magical powers of your son ?
( Could almost be another Harry Potter post ;)
Hurray for sunshine! It can be such a 'mood changer'... for the better.

Great kitchen tiles, by the way.
What a great set of pictures! It is so fun to see the other side of the world during a different season than my own.
I too thought of Harry Potter when I saw the picture of your son.
I am going to try the sourdough bread recipe you posted a while back.
I LOVE your house.
And your boy.
Great photos!
Did it come with angelic music?
A sunbeam can open up the heart!
I love these photos - really love them - thanks for sharing ! Mary

Oh my! How beautiful...
A little bit of magic.
I miss sunshine! It has been raining for 40 days and 40 nights straight.
