More little gumnut folk.

More wee knitted gnomey doll things.

You need a break from knitting pictures?

This is Meg.
Meg appears infrequently on the blog because she is an extremely boring beast. This is the most animated she gets - looking rather pissed off at the fact that we just worked out she is 117 in Cat Years.
This morning an enormous black crow actually pecked her tail as she ate her breakfast. (The crows eat the food she leaves and this one got tired of waiting). The mister had to shoo it away.
See? I told you she was pathetic.

Your gnomies are very cute. The other day a friend of mine came up and asked me "Do you do gnomes?" hmmm. I do "do gnomes." Looks like you do to! :) We gave a "gnome house" at our winter fair. It is a huge dome shaped structure about 4 feet high and 10 feet in circumference. It's quite magical and full of gnomes. It's time for me to start churning them out as each child gets to take one home.
She's not pathetic , she's just a very tired girl. Seems you have gone gnome crazy, they will be good stocking stuffers.
Oh, very nice gnomes (the mass gang of them is so appealing) and very nice, if perhaps not very active, cat. (I bet I won't be so active once I'm 117.)
The gnomes are really cute but I love the photo of your cat. At 117, I wouldnt be doing much either, lol!

Yes, I like cats. Would have been equally happy with uninterrupted knitting pics though.
Love the gnomes.
Meg looks like my Bobby, have you met him?:

I once had a cat who used to sit back and watch neighbourhood cats eat her food. Now *she* was pathetic ;) ..
Poor old Meg-mog. I bet she snores.
How do you type a large inhale? Gasp doesn't quit do it, but Gasp! I was intriged by the acorns and pears but those little knomes. Ohhhh, maybe its just cuz I'm kinda in the Christmas mood and they are Christmassy. Very very cute! I have been perusing book shelves for a while for that perfect "beginner" knit crochet book. Any suggestions? I can knit and crochet but only "straight" stuff, you know scarfs and blankets, thats it. I want to branch out.
I love your knitted things. All these little people in a group. I like the cat too, I want one..
I used to do a gnome, but that's a whole different story...
Sorry. I can't resist a bit of smut.
I love your cat's expression. Cats seem to have a whole range of contemptuous / pissed / annoyed expressions. My cat has mastered "distain".
I'm with the cat...
She's not pathetic, just old and slow.
And she deserves her blog time, because cats are simply beautiful doing nothing at all.
Wow I love the gumnuts........
Do you have a pattern for those little cuties? I would love to get my mum to knit some for my daughter that we are adopting. I'm picking up the gumnut book (the name escapes me at the moment) when we are in Australia in February, and these little guys would make the story so much better.
Thanks, Paula
follow along on our journey to bring our daughter home. www.chloesjourneyhome.blogspot.com
The gnomes and the woodland folk are very sweet. I dont like crows so I am glad it got shooed away. Poor old pussy cat, I wouldnt do much either at that age.
Meg looks mighty cranky.
Your gnomes on the other hand look mighty cute. I hear you on the deadline - here I am catching up with blogs when I should actually be working. oh well...
O poor Meg- a girl is entitled to her secrets.
We had a cat like that- he was not old, but he was afraid of birds!
Love you little knitteds!
megs just biding her time, she'll get that crow one day!love your little gnomey people, clever lady!
Oh, um-mah, you called your cat pathetic! You're going to have the cat police onto you ;-)
I LOVE THOSE GNOME GUYS!
Poor tired kitty.
Love your wee gumnut folk!
they're adorable, no other word for them.
like the new banner too :)
Meg is so cute. I saw your post and said "awww" out loud and my husband asked if I was looking at pets online again. Oops!
God - I want a Christmas tree covered in those Gnomey dolls this year!!!
I love your little knitted people and gumnut babies ... too cute !!
Meg is beautiful ... cats are allowed to be lazy ... that's what they are all about !!
Hope you are well.
Take care, Meow
Meg is adorable. How do you work out cat years? Is is the same as dog years? Love your photos by the way.
I love the little gnome people!! My kids would play with these forever and I would love to make them for them in every color!! Would you post or send me your pattern for them? I've looked around, but there are none quite as adorable as these!!
