It's been a glorious day here in all the best kinds of ways. Tomorrow we're heading off on our summer holidays for some more sun, and a bit of sand and surf too.
It's so hard to get my British head around the idea of summer holidays in December but... have a wonderful time. Maybe you could knit some sea shells...?
Just found your blog...and intend to stop by again for a visit or two!! especially as we live in the same continent! Happy Christmas from us in Adelaide! Alison
Oh yes, Happy Christmas + New Year and all that. Such a splendid photo (I think that's something you could use for your Christmas cards next year, oh...did I say next year? Beat me to a pulp now). Have a grand holiday - naps, reading, knitting, doing nothing at all.
Your red shoes are darling. Thank you so much for the acorn pattern, acorn's are so appealing. I visited the Huntington Gardens this past weekend, they have several English Oaks which are so glorious.
Hoping you are having a wonderful holiday! We are having a bit of January thaw here.. so we are soaking up some sun, although still in long sleeves, lol. Wishing you and yours all the best in 2009!
I've tagged you for a really great meme when you feel so inclined. It made me think about what was lovely in my life, though one or two of the things I came up with were a little unexpected. Happy New Year!
