Roy G Biv : green

28 March : tea cup pin cushion

My new pincushion. A birthday present from a friend.

teacup pin cushion

How gorgeous is that? Squeee!-worthy in its gorgeousness I'd say.

baby lime

And the first lime of the season. Unmolested by birds, possums and wallabies thus far. It's wonderful to see some greenery after the hot crisp months of summer.

ps. is the new background too blue?

Mental note, I must feed the citrus this week. I'm always late. The teacup pincushion is too cute. And, yes, it's rather blue. The yellow balloons below look fabulous against it though. Pea soup is green - why blue? And funny, but I kinda figured you for cherry colours, maybe plum.

What a great pin cushion - love it! The lime looks so cool and refreshing. The background color looks like a gray/blue on my monitor, it is fine, although it my tend to clash with some colors.

I noticed the first lemons on the tree yesterday, all shiny and green just like your lime :)

I like the blue, it's a lovely calm colour with a slight tinge of grey.

It's a lovely blue :)

I am getting excited about my first ever home grown lime. My father in law was very amused when I started planning a gin and tonic with my solitary lime.

I love the new blue b'ground.

Patiently waiting on my limes to grow a bit bigger too - it's their first year of fruition!

I think the blue is lovely, especially next to that delectable lime.

That picushion is gorgeous. And practical too!

I've started a feather and fan scarf with the yarn...

I like the blue. It is tranquil. Nice.

I have just realised that Roy G Biv is not a random collection of letters that amused you.

Doh!

The blue is good but you may want to reconsider next summer before you post pictures of your beach holiday because you could end up with a blue-out.

the blue is all good this end - and love that lime, how cool is that!?

Hey, blogger just blinked, and my comment disapparated. I wonder where it went.
Blue - tick
lime - tick
pin cushion - tick

Must update my own header.

I love all of your colors, they're incredible. I've just stumbled on your blog and I can't remember where I found the link but I'm glad that I did. I could always use a bit of color and inspiration, especially with all the snow still sticking around ~~

The way I'm seeing it, is that your Green Roy G Biv and blue background are providing some way welcome relief from all of that summery squinting.

oh, lovely pictures...my lime tree is completely infested with those wretched stinkbugs, and here you are with a perfect beautiful fruit.

I am not sure that the blue speaks very nicely to the other colours, but that's just me....

The blue is fine- not overbearing at all nice and discrete...anyway...I'm knitting a photography prop prototype at moment so once (IF) I perfect it I may be the market for some of your real wool. (Just using cheapo stuff till I get it figured out). Love your lime!
