Oh Yeah...totally worthy of all the superlatives. How on earth did the husband stumble upon these beauties? I mean, did he go into a shop? A shop with super interesting goodies (even ,maybe, some handmade stuff)? Just getting some clues for passing on to my fellow, about how to buy things that your beloved might actually want. Obligatory superlative: Splendid!
Susan, he went into an actual shop. He was going to buy some of the famous Beechworth honey as a bring-home present, but as he said, we buy it every week in the sueprmarket so it's not exactly new to us.
So, you know, long lurid socks made a good substitute.
