I have taken up the challenge of the mystery socks too.... first time ever trying a complicated pattern.... but mine are in a rather dull beigy brown, because that was the only colour sock wool I had to hand, and I was desperate to start!!! But it's coming along well, will have to post a picture. The only trouble with knitting socks is that once you have struggled through knitting a whole complicated sock pattern, you have to start again and make another one just the same!!!! AAAARRRGGGHHH!
Such time and care invested in the colouring of the socks to make them sunshine yellow.
The impossible task of knitting in a pattern like that and around a cylinrical thing, no less. How long must this take? And how annoying having that bottle thing.
I vant knit plain knitting let alone THAT.
and THEN
they end up on FEET!!!
Anything that is doomed to be worn on MY feet has a very short life span. Things like those socks gradually become outcasts du eto their misshapeness and smell...
I worry after all that effort those socks will be shoved into shoes....I'd have to hand the on the end of my bed, so pretty they are, and never wear them.

Those colors are scrumptious. No other word for it.
The socks are just stunning! I don't know that I could wear such bright yellow socks...but gosh they look so good!
How beautiful and what a gorgeous colour!

I am in love. The end. Both are perfect! And I am jealous! :)
I am so excited about those socks, I can't even tell you. I don't have the concentration to knit socks, I have to live vicariously through others...
Oh, that colour!!! That's glorious - like sunshine! And I love the cuff on the sock... I so should have done the mystery sock this year...
You know, I have a problem with those socks.

You're the second person to refer to something as egg-yolk yellow in two days in my world. I am liking egg-yolk yellow a lot.
Amasing colour: I love it (and they will look splendid in black or red shoes). These photos really make me smile.
