Going to the beach is the best fun. And actually, I don't want to jinx it or anything, but I think it's been a beautiful summer this year with not too many heatwaves. My firstborn would have loved all those shells.
I can't bear to be told any more how lovely the sun, sand and surf are when all we have is cloud, cold and anything else beginning with 'c' that is miserable.
Oh my word what wonderful photos! They are all the more wonderful since it is dead winter here and our beaches are so cold that only the hardiest of fools braves them at this time of year. Your beaches look so warm and inviting I almost feel as if I could be there. I just love the photo of the shells.
