i went to craft camp

and made a red strippy quilt top

my quilt top

Yes, same construction as my green strippy quilt top and my pink strippy quilt top. Not terribly original, but I love playing with the different combinations of shade and pattern.

More craft camp photos later ...

I really didn't want to see that! It's so lovely it makes me want to go and do one myself and there is so much else to do first. lol Cherrie

They are all really beautiful, and the red one is my favourite!

I love strippy quilts. I love red ones bestest of all.

Looks fabulous and I can't wait to see it all hand quilted and lying artfully over the back of your couch.

Like, no pressure or anything.

it's quite lovely and the red vs black/white gives it a real graphicness

Well, when one has a great formula, one must stick with it!

i LUFF it!!!!!!

I felt a bit of drool slip out when I first spied it, it is REALLY attractive!

I like this formula - and I may copy it :)

Yeah, yeah, gorgeous red quilt. Weekend away crafting. Whatever. I am so NOT stewing in jealousy. Couldn't be less so.

Fantastic quilt!! And I echo shadygrey's disavowal of any jealousy whatsoever that you got to spend a weekend away making it.

At the risk of sounding dogmatic ....There's no such thing as too many stripey/strippy quilts . In whatever colour combination at all .
( You made this in a WEEKEND ? Was the Tailor of Gloucester there too ? There must be something in the air there .)

It's the first time I have been to your blog, so went back and looked at the previous colours. Red is my favourite so far. I bet you do some other colours too. I would they look great.
