Hey Suse,

I have never commented here; but have been a lurker on your blog for some time. I stole your term "unbloggable ishews" in my latest post; but have given you credit :) I also recommended you as a good read to my little circle of readers. I hope you don't mind my presumption and should you see some traffic trickle in from my site than you will understand why it's headed your way! You can check out my site and the post where I talk about you here: www.goneonaluckycountry.blogspot.com

Cheers,
Mimi

Oh, also, if you do mind and you would like me to take anything down - please just let me know and I will be happy to do so!

Wonderful photo ! Wassail , beating back the wolves and celebrating the light that will return .
Mind you , Midsummer looked more or less like that this year here.Without the promise of light to come .... And I could have done with those mitts , too .

I loved seeing this because it was the opposite of what I put on my blog. There's something cool about how two lives hang opposite. Happy Solstice.

SmitoniusAndSonata is right - I could do with those mittens now, and it's midsummer here...

It's so weird, and I'll never get used to it - the upsidedownness of the world.

(I do have a pic of Mr Life under a railway bridge that day, by the way. No actual trains feature.)

That's a great photo! It captures winter beautifully. And now while our wheel turns the other way, you can look forward to a bit more light every day. It's nice to think that our loss is your gain.

WOW.
And we've just had Midsummer.
And it's raining.
