Well I have just found you, I came in from a Collage of Life and I have to say how magic your blog is. It definetly contains nuts!! I could kill you though for showing that shawl, how beautiful it is. I had/have not sure which a shawl fetish for years but as I now live in Cairns I tell myself that I DO NOT NEED anymore shawls. But this one is sooooo pretty we will see. Where do you live? I love the gypsy caravan, and what degree are you doing with medievil textiles in it? Also I think the pinbk stripey quilt is so pretty. Well that is probably enough with the 60 questions, but seriously your blog ROCKS. Thanks for brightening my world, Suse from Susie in Cairns

Just loving your big shawl action right now!!
First image...all you need is a starched white bonnet and you would be the perfect quaker lady!

I know I'm meant to be looking at the shawl, which is utterly lovely, but also I am very admiring of your skirt, elegant lady.

It's a tiny bit rude to call your aunt "enormous, warm and cuddly", though...
Oops, I misremembered that. "Enormous, soft and cuddly" - much better...
Thanks everyone and welcome, Susie. (I live in Melbourne, I'm doing a BA).
