what rose thou art, Suse? (or something like that.
I would add, gather all the un-read books in the house and sort them alphabetically.
Also, make a cake.
Winchester Cathedral, a David Austin rose. Smells heavenly.
Suse! essay - NOW!, young lady... or...
But ... but ... you told me to alphabetise my books and make a cake!
Oh dear; I hope you get it done in time! (I know the feeling ...)
Productive procrastination!
I would add do a complete sort of wardrobe and polish shoes. Oh and go through the pantry. Perhaps I should sign up for uni too?
Lovely rose.
Hmm, you could wallpaper the toilet with old maps, paint a wall in the bathroom a fetching turquoise, spend 3 hours rearranging all the bookshelves, do a spot of weeding or...do an essay! Go well Suse.
Never mind alphabetising your books, I think you should arrange them according to colour. I did this once and it takes up vast amounts of time and requires you to move books around the whole house.
Beautiful David Austin rose.
My structured procrastination finds me reading this blog post. Check.
Read Suse's blog . Try to think of amusing procrastinating business to include in comment . Make coffee , drink , search for new pack of coffee filters , make more coffee .....
I hope your day is more productive than mine's turning out to be .
Read the procrastination diary blog for new ideas. Isn't it amazing how much you can get done when avoiding something else. Proud of you Pea Soup.
Come to my house and unpack the books that are still in boxes after six months. At least, the ones that my daughter did notunpack on Saturday when she was meant to be studying for an exam!!
the only D.A. rose that has thrived in my corner is Charlotte. Fabulous frgrance.
I am not even joking when I say that I am impressed by the idea of the effectiveness of scrubbing around the taps with an old toothbrush and plan to do this myself now.
But not until Wednesday.
Maybe I should go back to University? Sounds like I'd achieve an awesome amount of housework.
lol going on here!!!

Re-arranging mantle shelf, is a favourite delaying tactic here too. Also, "Oh, look at fragrant flowers ablooming in the garden. I must set forth and snip a few for the house. Now, I must find quirky water containers for flowers and take some time arranging said flowers".
Oh you are all being marvelously helpful with the extra ideas. I now have beautifully polished shoes and vases of flowers everywhere. I also have a clean range hood.
There are still dust bunnies in the dining room though. I have my limits.
Sounds soooo familiar! Lovely red shawl, by the way.
best, nadia
