Amazing photos. I love the mist in the valleys and hopefully bushfire exercises are all that will be needed this year. A vain hope probably, but a hope just the same.
Oh my goodness. That's considerably better than my view of houses across the street. I do have mature James Stirling pittosporum (never pruned) planted all along the driveway: to shade our house from the west and screen the ugly house next door. They work brilliantly, but are now at risk because the husband gets a bit wet if he needs to use the first car up the driveway. Sigh.
I heard the noise of helicopters frequently last weekend but that was becasue the Me Hi River had reached major flooding proportions and the motel we were staying in (while trapped in Moree) was only 200m from the hospital!
