Thanks to those who entered the knitting book giveaway; we have a winner! Duchess-declutter, your name came out of the hat. Would you care to send me an email at suseinthesoup[at]gmail[dot]com and I will pop your book in the mail.
yes, it took me about 40 seconds to work out the book - well author definitely - is it Anne of Avonlea? I thought it was because of my job, then realised, NO just my aspy/ocd-ish book tendencies...
My mouse was on the dog photo when it opened and when the "I see a little silhouette" title popped up, Queen immediately started singing in my head. Scaramouche! Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango? I love the blanket stitched leaf bookmark. I'd have to make one from felt as I don't think the Aspen or Scrub Oak leaves in my back yard would hold up to embroidery floss.
I think it's probably already 2012 where you are as I write this, but anyway,.....Happy New Year to you and your family. May 2012 be full of happiness and good health and knitting and sewing and blogging.
Anne of Avonlea! I read all the Anne books again through Project Gutenberg late last year. And all the Emily books. And The Story Girl. I... may have a problem.

I love the eucalyptus book mark. What a brilliant idea.
Well done to the winner. And an ooh, love the book mark from me too :D
Excellent choice of reading material! And I chime in in loving the bookmark, too.
I recognise a couple of those objects! (well, sort of - because the cushion looks as fabulous as the skirt).
That's an Anne book, that is. Comfort reading for the end of year?

the dog looks very noble here, like an art nouveau sculpture.
