morning to night

rays

5.44 pm sky

Morning light and evening light. Mostly to get the photo of myself off the top of the page.

Small excitements this week include learning there's a weekly craft group here at work, and hearing that Longbourn, a novel by Jo Baker telling the Pride and Prejudice story from the servants' point of view, is excellent.

Not that I would have wanted to be a servant then , at all , but I love the sound of Longbourn .

Often, my only motivatioin to blog is a desire to nudge my previous blog out of full frontal view.

Oh, I thought you weren't really blogging any more and here you are. Lots! Many congrats on your degree!

So sorry about your mum and dad, though glad your dad is improving. I do sympathise, having been through it not so long ago myself. You never really recover from losing your parents, though of course it happens to nearly all of us. Life is short. (She said, with startling originality.)

But the next generation is clearly lovely.
